1. The first step would be to place the curtain hook in upside-down manner. Slightly open up the hook after making sure the hook portion is at the bottom and not at the top
2. Insert the leftmost spike into the very first opening that you can see in the gathering tape
3. The next step will involve inserting the spike into the eighth slot at the right
4. Do repeat the same procedure for the next two spikes, and you’ll finish inserting the 1^st hook with this
