  • Take a blade knife and clean the hole. Cut at an angle and make sure that the exterior hole is bigger than the interior one.

  • Take rest till the putty dry. Once you make sure that it is dry, lightly sand the area until it becomes smooth.

  • Cut a square of drywall slightly larger than the hole. Score one side with a blade knife and cut the back of the broken
  • Using a pencil, draw an outline of the patch around the hole.
  • Before planning the cut check for electrical wires or plumbing lines. Make sure that you do not cut those wires.
  • Use a drywall saw to cut out the drawn area.
  • To makes sure that your patch does not fall, screw in two wooden boards behind the drywall, one at the top and one at bottom of the hole.
  • Spread drywall compound effectively and add mesh.
  • Now again sand the affected area and keep repeating it until the patch is undetectable.
  • Paint it over once it’s dry.
